For this is where my family and friends are and I hold them all close to my heart for they are not just family and friends but my world. Not Much

I haven't been on here much since last fall, so I decided to stop in and see what was up. In December I realized I had some problems with my wrist that I needed to take care of with surgery. I tried everything to relief the pain and swelling over the last couple of years but when it came to the point I could not write and had to put my sewing away I knew I was headed for surgery. So far, all I can say is it turned out better then what I thought it was going to. I was told there might be some loss in usage but from what I can tell I have not lost anything. What makes me even happier is knowing that I can cut out pattern pieces without having to stop every two seconds, that made the holiday projects take so long to finish.  Now with warmer weather around the corner ( yes I know it's there somewhere comming this way) I can't wait to get the motorcycle out and see if I can ride without my arm going numb from the finger tips all the way up to my shoulder.

    Come on warm weather!!!!!!!

    Rain Rain

Friday, August 24, 2007, 09:18 AM CST [General]

Rain Rain go away...... we want to go out and play.  This is about all I can think of since Monday. Gotta love the weather here in Iowa. Rains one minute then hot and humid the next but for some reason this rain just won't go away this time. It managed to cancel the ACRF which in disguise may be a blessing for me since I recieved voice mail last night at work from my brother regarding him having neck surgery next friday. I've tried to contact him already this mornin and there's been no answer at his house nor his cell. Guess I better wait and try this afternoon like he said in the voice mail. I hate waiting, I think he did this to me on purpose. Guess I better go and finish housework since I can't work outside today.

    bye-bye

Pictures are coming up very soon here. Like, as soon as little Ericka figures out that the Nikon is NOT the little camera. Give me about 20 minutes and things should be posted.

Hi. I've been very busy. I got my new camera, Nikon D60, and have gotten a few new clients because of it. The one that's the most time consuming is the Cedar Rapids Animal Shelter. I'm doing their newsletter and taking pictures for it as well. So, I'm running all over the place.
And I've joined another rennie group called the Brotherhood of Steel. And I'm their photographer for the faires I can get to. And little Ericka has been being a little kid. So, stress there. But other than being busy (which is good), things are going great. I finish my bachelors on June 1, and start my masters on June 9.
